Yoga, breathing practices और healthy lifestyle habits के माध्यम से flexibility, fitness, relaxation और overall wellbeing को बेहतर बनाएं।

Yoga and Healthy Lifestyle is a structured course designed to introduce learners to Yoga asanas, physical wellness, flexibility, breathing awareness and healthy lifestyle practices. The course combines practical Yoga sessions with an understanding of asana procedures, potential benefits, precautions and contraindications.
The course is suitable for learners who want to develop a regular Yoga practice, improve flexibility and mobility, strengthen body awareness and learn healthy lifestyle practices under professional guidance.

1. Asanas for Preventive Wellness and Physical Fitness
Students learn how Yoga asanas can be incorporated into a healthy and active lifestyle. The topic covers body flexibility, appropriate precautions and general physical wellness, including aspects related to bone and joint strength, muscular fitness, circulation, respiratory function, digestive wellbeing, nervous-system wellbeing and overall physical fitness.
Regular physical activity is associated with improvements in physical fitness, bone and functional health and overall wellbeing.

2. Yoga and Healthy Weight Management
This section introduces Yoga practices that may be incorporated into an active lifestyle and healthy weight-management routine.
Students learn the procedure, commonly described benefits, precautions and contraindications of:
Vajrasana
Pada Hastasana
Urdhva Hastasana
Trikonasana
Ardha Matsyendrasana
The emphasis is on safe practice and appropriate technique rather than using Yoga as a substitute for medical or nutritional care.

3. Yoga and Diabetes Wellness
Students learn selected Yoga practices that may be used as part of a broader healthy-lifestyle approach.
The section covers the procedure, commonly described benefits, precautions and contraindications of:
Bhujangasana
Paschimottanasana
Pawanmuktasana
Ardha Matsyendrasana
Yoga should be considered a complementary physical activity and not a replacement for prescribed diabetes treatment or medical advice.

4. Yoga and Respiratory Wellness
This section introduces Yoga asanas and breathing awareness practices relevant to respiratory wellbeing.
Students study the procedure, commonly described benefits, precautions and contraindications of:
Sukhasana
Chakrasana
Gomukhasana
Parvatasana
Bhujangasana
Paschimottanasana
Matsyasana
Learners with asthma or other respiratory conditions should discuss appropriate Yoga practices with their healthcare professional and qualified Yoga instructor. Research suggests Yoga may provide some benefit for asthma symptoms and quality of life, but it should not replace standard asthma treatment.

5. Yoga and Blood Pressure Wellness
Students learn selected Yoga practices with emphasis on relaxation, posture, controlled movement and safe practice.
The section covers:
Tadasana
Vajrasana
Pawanmuktasana
Ardha Chakrasana
Bhujangasana
Shavasana
Students learn the procedure, commonly described benefits, precautions and contraindications of each practice. Individuals with high blood pressure should receive appropriate professional guidance because some Yoga practices may need to be modified according to individual health needs.

6. Yoga for Back and Musculoskeletal Wellness
Students learn gentle and structured Yoga practices focused on flexibility, mobility, posture and general physical wellbeing.
The section covers:
Tadasana
Ardha Matsyendrasana
Vakrasana
Shalabhasana
Bhujangasana
Students learn the procedure, potential benefits, precautions and contraindications associated with each asana. Yoga may provide a modest benefit for some people with low-back pain, but individual assessment and appropriate instruction remain important.

Assessment
An objective test is conducted after completion of the course to assess students' understanding of Yoga concepts, asana procedures, benefits, precautions and contraindications.
Safety and Professional Guidance
Yoga practices should be performed under the guidance of a qualified Yoga instructor, particularly for beginners and people with existing health conditions. Some postures may need to be modified or avoided depending on individual circumstances. NCCIH specifically recommends that people with health conditions discuss their individual needs with their healthcare provider and Yoga instructor.

This course is intended for education, physical activity and wellness and is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment or medical advice.
