WHAT is IOQM?
The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM), earlier known as Pre-RMO, is the first and most crucial stage of the Indian Mathematical Olympiad pathway. Qualifying IOQM enables students to advance to the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO), followed by the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO), ultimately leading to the opportunity to represent India at the prestigious International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
HOW does the Olympiad pathway work?
The Mathematics Olympiad program in India is conducted under the guidance of the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) in association with the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. This structured multi-stage process identifies and nurtures mathematical talent at the national and international levels.
WHY IOQM (Pre-RMO) Preparation?
IOQM preparation builds a strong foundation in advanced mathematics well beyond school curricula. Our objective at Mathsarc is to identify and nurture mathematically gifted students from Classes 8 to 11 by providing systematic IOQM training, Olympiad-level study material, regular mock tests, and expert mentorship.
