CBSE Class 7 Biology Part 2 Life Science and Foundation

(Course ID : MAC-66)

School & Boards Exam - (स्कूल और बोर्ड परीक्षायें) » CBSE - Central Board of Secondary Education » Class 7 » Science (विज्ञान)

CBSE Class 7 Biology की मजबूत foundation with concept-based learning, diagrams, activities, practice questions और Life Science की clear understanding.

CBSE Class 7 Biology – Part 2 is a structured Biology course designed to help Class 7 students develop a strong understanding of important biological concepts through concept-based teaching, diagrams, examples, activities and regular practice.
The course focuses on Nutrition, Weather and Climate, Respiration, Transportation and Reproduction in Plants, helping students build scientific reasoning, conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills. It is suitable for CBSE students and can also support learners following ICSE and State Board curricula.
The course may be conducted through Online Live, Offline or Home Tuition modes, depending on the available teacher and batch.

Topics Covered
1. Nutrition in Plants (पादपों में पोषण)
Students learn how plants obtain and prepare their food and understand different modes of nutrition.
Topics include nutrition in plants, modes of nutrition, photosynthesis as the food-making process, the role of cells, synthesis of plant food other than carbohydrates, other modes of nutrition, saprotrophs and replenishment of nutrients in the soil.

2. Nutrition in Animals (प्राणियों में पोषण)
Students learn the process of nutrition in animals and understand the different stages of digestion.
Topics include different ways of taking food, digestion in humans, the mouth and buccal cavity, tooth decay, oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, absorption, large intestine, digestion in grass-eating animals, diarrhoea and feeding and digestion in Amoeba.

3. Weather, Climate and Adaptations of Animals to Climate (मौसम, जलवायु तथा जलवायु के अनुरूप जंतुओं द्वारा अनुकूलन)
Students learn the difference between weather and climate and understand how animals adapt to different climatic conditions.
Topics include weather, climate, adaptations, polar regions and tropical rainforests.

4. Respiration in Organisms (जीवों में श्वसन)
Students understand why organisms respire and how respiration and breathing take place.
Topics include the need for respiration, breathing, the process of breathing, gases exchanged during breathing, breathing in different animals, breathing under water and respiration in plants.

5. Transportation in Animals and Plants (जंतुओं और पादप में परिवहन)
Students learn how materials are transported within animals and plants.
Topics include the circulatory system, blood, blood vessels, veins, heart and heartbeat, excretion in animals, the human excretory system, transportation of substances in plants, transport of water and minerals and transpiration.

6. Reproduction in Plants (पादप में जनन)
Students learn different methods of reproduction in plants and understand the processes involved in asexual and sexual reproduction.
Topics include asexual reproduction, vegetative propagation, budding, fragmentation, spore formation, sexual reproduction, pollination, fertilization, fruit and seed formation and seed dispersal.

Learning Outcomes, Students can develop:
• Strong conceptual understanding of Class 7 Biology
• Better understanding of plant and animal life processes
• Ability to interpret and understand biological diagrams
• Scientific observation and reasoning skills
• Better understanding of nutrition, respiration and transportation
• Clear understanding of reproduction in plants
• Improved problem-solving and application skills
• Confidence in answering school examination questions
• A strong foundation for higher-level Biology and Science
