Class X - Mathematics Part 3: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Foundation & Board exams.
The subtopics for the mathematics class for the 10th CBSE exam cover a wide range of topics including Arithmetic Progressions, Quadratic Equations, Some Applications of Trigonometry, Surface Area and Volume, Circles, and Constructions.
Arithmetic Progressions (समान्तर श्रेणियाँ)
covers the concept of arithmetic progressions, including finding the nth term and the sum of the first n terms. It also includes miscellaneous solved problems and a perspective on the topic from the IIT Foundation.
Quadratic Equations (द्विघात समीकरण)
covers the topic of quadratic equations and how to solve them using factorization and completing the square methods. It also includes information on the nature of roots, the sum and product of roots, and miscellaneous solved problems.
Some Applications of Trigonometry (त्रिकोणमिती के कुछ अनुप्रयोग)
covers applications of trigonometry in the form of heights and distances, angle of elevation and angle of depression, and includes a basic trigonometric table, solved examples and miscellaneous problems.
Surface Area and Volume (पृष्ठों का क्षेत्रफल एवं आयतन)
covers the topics of surface area and volume, including the properties of basic shapes such as cubes, cuboids, circles, spheres, hemispheres, cones, pyramids, cylinders, and more. It also includes information on lateral surface area, perimeter, puzzles, TSA, CSA, Volume of a Combination of Solids, Conversion of Solid from One Shape to Another, Frustum of a Cone, and exercise.
Circles (वृत्त)
covers the topic of circles, including technical words, tangents to a circle, the number of tangents from a point on a circle, theorems, solved problems and miscellaneous solved problems.
Constructions (रचनाएँ)
covers the topic of constructions, including division of a line segment, writing steps of construction, and construction of tangents to a circle. It also includes solved problems and miscellaneous problems, as well as exercises for further practice.
Note: Other two topics are excluded in the course, you can ask Favor from the teacher in exchange of fee
