The course "Class 12th Mathematics Series, Term I, Part B" is designed especially for class XII, CBSE Board students but other board students may also join the course. The course series has four parts to cover full class XII, Mathematics syllabus and Part B ie. Class 12th Mathematics Series, Term I, Part B contains the following chapters as shown below.
1) Limits and Derivatives (सीमा और अवकलज).
2) Continuity and Differentiability (सांतत्य तथा अवकलनीयता).
3) Applications of Derivatives (अवकलज के अनुप्रयोग).
The course is available for both, English and Hindi Medium. Teachers are requested to mention their course medium while creating the batch for students' convenience.
1) Limits and Derivatives (सीमा और अवकलज).
Intuitive idea of limit. Limits of polynomials and rational functions trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions.
2) Continuity and Differentiability (सांतत्य तथा अवकलनीयता).
Continuity and differentiability, derivative of composite functions, chain rule, derivative of inverse trigonometric functions, derivative of implicit functions. Concept of exponential and logarithmic functions. Derivatives of logarithmic and exponential functions. Logarithmic differentiation, derivative of functions expressed in parametric forms. Second order derivatives.
3) Applications of Derivatives (अवकलज के अनुप्रयोग).
Applications of derivatives: increasing/decreasing functions, tangents and normals, maxima and minima (first derivative test motivated geometrically and second derivative test given as a provable tool). Simple problems (that illustrate basic principles and understanding of the subject as well as real-life situations).
Note: Basic Book - R. D. Sharma, 2 Test, One Objective and One Subjective. Solve Past 10 Years Papers in the class. Teachers are requested to consider the note.
